Hi. I’m Wanda Thibodeaux.
I’m a freelance writer currently based in Eagan, MN, just south of the Twin Cities, where I live with my awesome husband, Chris, and our two children, Emma and Isaac. Operating independently as sole proprietor of Takingdictation.com since 2006, I began specializing in business content in 2016. My bylined or ghostwritten work has appeared in top-tier publications such as Forbes, Newsweek, Entrepreneur, Inc., and Harvard Business Review.
I started the Faithful on the Clock podcast after spending hundreds of hours listening to business leaders from all over the country share their expertise. Although they consistently shared wonderful stories, process tips, and concepts, they often seemed lost in the corporate hustle. I realized just how difficult it is for professionals to slow down, prioritize God, and approach the office with His peace and confidence.
As I created social media posts for the show, I fell in love with sharing what God’s helping me to understand. I got comfortable being open about my beliefs on LinkedIn and started writing stand-alone faith-oriented writing on sites like Medium. I knew I needed a home base where I could provide regular, longer-form blog posts and centralize everything for the show.
And here we are.
I hope that, by being as open as I can as my faith and career develop, I can help you to feel the joy and security God wants to gift to you. If I can build a community of people who are willing to support each other and keep each other accountable in their service to Him, I’ll be happy.
