“Maybe I can make it if I just pay for this guy’s webinar.”
“They have over a million followers — they must have the answer.”
“This is the most innovative company I’ve ever seen — I better get on board before it’s too late.”
It’s all the same song — looking for safety, reduced risk, and a way out of what stinks.
But there’s a fine line between utilizing good resources and counselors and misplacing onto them the faith that ought to be given to God.
This week’s challenge is about being honest about what you’re putting trust in and why — and then making sure you’re oriented first to Him.

When you start to get overwhelmed, you need a little help, you need a little information, God is the best salvation there is.
The verse that I want to share with you today for Challenge Me Monday is Acts 4:12, and that says,
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
Now, I know, for professionals, one of the things that we do all the time when we need some help and we need some support is we go to the gurus, we go to the books, we go to the information, and we try and — and act as though those people are going to give us the way out. They are going to save us, per se. But what I want to do with you today for the challenge is, I want to encourage you, before you go to the webinars, before you go to the business books, before you go to any of those resources, I want you to pull out your Bible first and see what the scripture says on that particular topic. I’m not saying you can’t then go read your information, okay, or watch the videos, or do whatever, go to the conference, do whatever you want to do. I’m just saying, prioritize the word and prayer above those things, because ultimately, He’s the one that’s going to get you out of it.
Take care, everybody.
