If your work doesn’t feel like a good match, it might be because you’re in a role that’s not tapping your spiritual gifts. I focus on how to get into a job that matches what God’s given to you in Episode 94 of Faithful on the Clock.
The very first point I make in the show is that success doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve been using what God placed in you. I know plenty of people who busted you-know-what to get where they are. Every move was like pulling teeth. That’s success by sheer force.
That’s not how it’s supposed to be.
Will you have to still work hard? Sure. But when you use a natural ability God has given to you, the results will come a whole lot more easily.
Now, let me remind you that EVERYONE has at least one gift. You might not know what yours is yet (Episode 83 can help), and that’s OK. Sometimes, it’s hard to get the chance to find out what we’re meant to do, either due to a lack of support, a lack of resources, or both. But have faith that it’s there inside of you, because it is. Once you discover what your gift is, you might have to do a complete pivot, and that might be scary. But there’s a reason why you have it, and God doesn’t expect you to put your light under a bushel basket.
Find it.
Use it.
Get good things back.
